Reptilian. This was the film that started it all for us. The beginning of a journey that had us watching hours and hours of awful films. It was Christmas 2004 when, as a joke, we gave a copy of the Korean monster movie to a friend. To say that he was disappointed was an understatement so we promised to suffer through the film with him. What we saw that night will likely stay with us for the rest of our lives. We expected bad acting, hammy dialogue, and guys in rubber suits. We didn’t expect to be entertained. Okay, it wasn’t that good but it did get us to appreciate the unintentional entertainment value of schlock films. So what if it’s a B-movie, as long as we got a kick out of it, that movie is A-Ok!
After years of watching B-movies we realized that not all of them are created equal. Yes all B-movies are bad, but not all of them are entertainingly so. In an attempt to get more people to appreciate these misunderstood works we decided to start a review blog. Here you can find all our thoughts on films that feature giant reptiles, mutant cyborgs and bug-eyed monsters.
Why Bugeyedmovies? It’s comes from that old science fiction staple, the Bug-Eyed Monster. If you don’t know what that is, keep reading this blog and I’m sure we’ll find a good movie with a grotesque creature with oversized eyes for you to watch.
We thank you for visiting us and hope that you find our reviews to insightful, informative and entertaining. While there are many established B-movie review sites out there we think that there’s always room for another ranting, raving, schlock movie loving reviewer on the web.
Lastly, we do accept contributors. We can’t possibly cover everything and your input will definitely be appreciated.

What can I say other then I am obcessed with film and all things geeky . I currently maintain my own blog via wordpress, which focuses on either musings of
genre film or general film topics. I have an unhealthy need to watch numorus B-Movies and trash classics (Frank Henelotter/Lucio Fulci/Enzo G.Castellari/Larry Cohen etc). If you would like me to send copys of my work I would be more then happy. I have only really started writing in the last year and I have no formal journalistic training.

Ok before i rant couple things am new to this site ,also two shameless punts for uk ppl,co op walking dead season 1 tenner, and one my fave not b movie director,god guys had more fingers and input in films than baker with gangreen,in last 30 plus years roger we not worthy corman,in hmv 4 films,shartopus etc tenner great buy,aANY WAY ,I my self feel that b movie tag watcher is pround thing say ,i think film industry big ones avater etc dnt realy refect what people watch ,want and injoy ,also big companys have such hold on media that companys dnt get noticed for hard work,and films they make ok some down rright bad and cheesy,but hay got start some were and people said that bout 1950,60 sci fi film .I find it hard find read reviews of films comeing out i realy do try look if want call it b movies,say deadundead,or troll hunter dog soilders.these are films and companys thats should have bigger slices of movie pie,just look at grip big companys have in uk over vue,oden cinieworld, i mean show bollywood films and am sure they only take in tiny amout( am not dising bollywood just to this groups oden etc there is asmall market for them and gd pr like todler and mum films) but when look at cost ,cinie world nealy 9 quid now and they lucky get 3pound ticket( i know this as asked big wig doing a tour of new place how much new tickets etc cost) ,do not think have fims like ours be better money spiners for them could do back to backs deal for students etc make more sense and better for everybody,as at min numbers are down,money is tight and not long before one big ones starts haveing problems.This something that tv and tesco has noticed with amout free stuff on line they getting in this now to as seasaw now closed( some ask whats that well was free site doing free films and shows) like blinkbox but blinky do rentals too ,tesco now owe 80percent this is in line with big one itv,ch4r tesco you tube so they want get in on this buy bringing out youview box ( just google have look) its not to bad idea but wonder what catch be tho, Maybe some of fils groups could sorta band toghter and get a channel,or advertising on it,if cinima groups dnt want know ,but lets face it they got do something as id rather watch and pay for b movies etc that crap got now,
